“Village of Alsip Celebrates Arbor Day”
The Village of Alsip helped celebrate Arbor Day on April 28th, 2017 with staff and students at George Washington school 12545 S. Homan. A New Bradford Pear tree was planted on the school campus. Students assisted with the planting and were taught the importance trees have on our community. A special Thank You to Cathy Quinn-Hornung from William Quinn & Sons Nursery and Landscaping for their assistance with the new tree.
