Progress is being made!

Progress is being made at the Alsip Boat Launch following Morton Arboretum’s $260,000 grant for new Green Infrastructure to replace the east parking lot, we’ll soon be planting over 250 trees there. Plus, the walls are starting to go up at the new Alsip Gas N Wash at 127th & Kostner.

Alsip’s annual infrastructure projects are going well, as 330 squares of sidewalks are being replaced, while the water mains just west of Pulaski are also being replaced. Mayor Ryan and Public Works Supt Fraider submitted a request for a (STRS) Safe Routes To School Grant, asking for more sidewalks in neighborhoods in need of such.
