The Alsip Fire Department would like to thank Arkema Coatings for their generosity in donating several pieces of fire equipment to the fire department after a major remodeling project. The donation included 2- portable monitors and self-educting foam nozzles and 350’ of 5” supply hose. The new equipment would be used on incidents involving cooling flammable liquid container fires and the application of foam if needed. The estimated value to the equipment is $10,000.
